đŸŸ From Ridgeway, Wisconsin, to the Tetons: Our Journey West with Three Fluffy Co-Pilots

When Dominic and I packed up our life in Ridgeway, Wisconsin, we weren’t just hauling grooming gear and coffee mugs—we were relocating with three very opinionated, very furry co-pilots. This wasn’t a move made on a whim—it was a choice we made wholeheartedly, shaped by care, planning, and a shared vision for the life we wanted to build.

Our kiddos didn’t just come along for the ride. They were the heartbeat of our journey.

Our Little Universe: From left: Winter, Oliver, Twist (watching from above), and Sawyer.

This is the story of how we crossed state lines, chased sunsets, and built a new life in Teton Valley—with muddy paws, tangled leashes, and hearts full of hope.

🚐 The Decision to Move

Leaving Ridgeway wasn’t easy. It was home—built on loyal clients, familiar trails, and a grooming business crafted from the ground up. The bonds I formed there, both human and canine, ran deep.

But something in us was ready for a new chapter. We craved mountains. We craved space. We craved a community where dogs are family and kindness still leads the way—just like our community in Wisconsin, but with a different kind of wild.

So we mapped a route west, packed up our home with care, and promised our pups plenty of snack breaks, sniff stops, and window-seat views. This wasn’t just a move—it was a thoughtful transition into something quieter and wilder, all at once.

đŸ¶ Three Dogs, One Rolling Adventure

Traveling with three furry companions? Let’s just say it was less “road trip” and more “furry field trip.”
There were rest stops turned into play parks, a Walmart nap that became a cuddle pile, and yes—everyone insisted on their own window seat.

But the best part? Watching them sniff new air, stretch in unfamiliar fields, and settle into the rhythm of the road. They didn’t just tag along—they made the trip feel like home on wheels.

đŸ”ïž Arriving in Teton Valley

The first time we saw the Tetons rise up behind the valley, we knew. This was it. The light was different here. The pace was gentler. And the people? They waved. They asked about our dogs. They made us feel like we belonged.

We’re now in the process of setting up Jess’s Pampered Pups—with fresh eyes, full hearts, and a deep commitment to serving this community with the same care, clarity, and emotional attunement that shaped Jess’s Pampered Pups in Wisconsin.

💬 What We’ve Learned

  • Dogs pick up on energy—if they’re at ease, you’re doing something right.

  • Change can be a little messy, but it’s always better with furry companions.

  • Community begins with connection—and sometimes that starts with a tail wag.

If you’re new to Teton Valley, just like we were, welcome. If you’ve been here forever, thank you for letting us join you. And if you ever need a groomer who sees your dog as family, we’re here—with clean towels, gentle hands, and a whole lot of heart.
